Soul Navigations With Author, Soul Navigator, Melody Krafft, Virginia
On October 15th, 2024, Edge Talk Radio welcomed author, Soul Navigator, and spirit artist Melody Krafft from Virginia for an enlightening conversation about spiritual awakening, discovering our true selves, releasing limiting beliefs, and understanding the journey of the soul.
With a background in psychology and decades of experience exploring mediumship and spiritual development, Melody shared how her intuitive abilities began in childhood. Although she was aware of these experiences long before pursuing psychology, she eventually sought formal mediumship training to better understand the history, ethics, and responsibility involved in working with Spirit.
One of the central themes of the conversation was recognizing the beliefs that prevent us from experiencing our full potential. Through years of teaching mediumship, Melody noticed that many students weren't struggling because they lacked ability. Instead, self-doubt, emotional wounds, and deeply rooted beliefs about themselves were holding them back.
Melody explained that spiritual awakening isn't necessarily about gaining more knowledge, abilities, or experiences. It's about subtraction rather than addition. From her perspective, we already possess everything we need within us. The journey involves releasing the false beliefs, fears, and limitations that keep us from recognizing our true nature as love.
The conversation also explored the importance of quieting the mind and learning to recognize spiritual guidance through feelings rather than relying entirely on words or visions. Melody discussed her practice of sitting in the presence, a meditative experience that helps participants become more centered, open, and receptive to their intuition.
Melody also introduced her award-winning book, Get Me Out of Here! What's Beyond the Madness?, which explores three stages of spiritual awakening. She described the camel stage as a period of struggle and feeling burdened by life, the lion stage as the process of challenging and releasing limiting beliefs, and the innocent child stage as recognizing our true spiritual identity and the love that has always been within us.
Another important discussion centered on mediumship and spiritual healing. Melody emphasized that mediumship should be approached with compassion, integrity, and respect for others. She shared experiences from her work as a spirit artist and explained why she believes the purpose of mediumship is healing rather than entertainment.
Throughout the interview, Melody encouraged listeners to stop trying to control everything around them and instead focus on their own thoughts, beliefs, and spiritual growth. She reminded us that everyone is on their own journey, and sometimes the most loving thing we can do is allow others to follow their path while continuing to grow along our own.
Ultimately, this conversation offered a different way of looking at ascension and personal transformation. Rather than searching outside ourselves for something we're missing, Melody encouraged us to recognize what has always been there beneath the layers of conditioning, fear, and self-doubt.
What I Learned From Melody Krafft
As we continue to grow and expand, I loved the idea of looking at the ascension process as subtracting, not adding. We are already perfect, whole, and pure Love. As we release the beliefs that tell us we are anything less, we begin to uncover who we truly are. We don't have to add anything to become complete. Everything we need is already within us.
