Guided Awakening by Great Mother Malia with CEO, Author Jennifer Longmore, Canada

On October 1st, 2024, Edge Talk Radio welcomed Canadian CEO, author, and spiritual teacher Jennifer Longmore for a fascinating conversation about her experiences channeling Great Mother Malia, spiritual awakening, energy, purpose, abundance, and becoming more conscious of the words we use to create our lives.

Jennifer is an award-winning CEO, 11-time bestselling author, and founder of an Akashic Records training school. For more than 20 years, she has worked with people around the world exploring intuition, energy, spirituality, purpose, and prosperity. She shared how her connection with Great Mother Malia developed over many years before dramatically changing during a retreat in Hawaii, when she experienced Malia's presence in a much deeper and more continuous way.

Throughout the conversation, Jennifer spoke about moving away from judgment and becoming more aware of the energy we bring into our lives. Rather than constantly focusing on what is wrong or what needs to be fixed, she encouraged looking at what is possible and recognizing where our attention, beliefs, and energy are being directed.

One of the most interesting discussions centered around money and our ability to receive and hold energy. Jennifer challenged the common idea that people have difficulty receiving abundance. From her perspective, energy is always around us and we are constantly receiving it. The greater challenge can be our ability to comfortably hold what we receive.

Jennifer shared her own experience of earning six figures early in her business and realizing that having that much money actually made her uncomfortable. Her first instinct was to get rid of it. That experience helped her recognize that creating money and being able to comfortably hold it were two different things.

She connects this idea to energy more broadly. In her view, learning to hold greater amounts of energy while remaining grounded can influence how much abundance, opportunity, creativity, and expansion we are comfortable allowing into our lives. Rather than continually asking why we aren't receiving, the question can become: How comfortable am I holding what I've created?

The conversation also explored the relationship between money and purpose. Jennifer explained that people often already have some awareness of what they want to do but may be waiting for permission, safety, certainty, or the perfect circumstances before pursuing it. Fear of failure, financial insecurity, or getting something wrong can keep someone from moving forward.

Another idea that stood out was becoming more intentional with our language. Jennifer discussed paying attention to words such as could, would, and should, and replacing them when appropriate with more decisive language such as can, will, and shall. For Jennifer, this is about noticing whether the words we habitually use reinforce uncertainty or support a greater sense of possibility and intention.

She also encouraged listeners to look for what is going well rather than continually searching for problems. When our attention is constantly directed toward what needs fixing, it can become difficult to recognize the beauty, kindness, opportunity, and possibility that are also present around us.

Ultimately, Jennifer's message was about remembering our ability to create, becoming more conscious of where we place our energy, and recognizing the relationship between our thoughts, words, purpose, and what we allow ourselves to hold.

What I Learned From Jennifer Longmore

What stood out to me was paying attention to the words we use and choosing words that serve us—will, shall, and can rather than always relying on would, should, and could.

I also loved the idea that we may not have a receiving problem when it comes to money or creating something new—we may have a holding problem. Understanding the difference can change how we look at abundance, what we're capable of creating, and what we're willing to allow ourselves to have in our lives.
