Numerology: Riding the waves of  2025 with Numerologist Kay Kraty, UK

On February 18, 2025, Edge Talk Radio welcomed numerologist, holistic practitioner, and teacher Kay Kraty from the United Kingdom for a fascinating conversation about the numerology of 2025, the energy of change, and how our thoughts, words, and intentions can influence the way we experience life.

With more than 30 years of study and experience in holistic practices, Kay brings together esoteric numerology, Reiki, sound healing, and spiritual development. Her interest in numerology began with a curiosity about the patterns, symbolism, and qualities of numbers. That curiosity eventually led her to complete a three-year numerology training program in the UK.

Kay explained that her approach to numerology goes beyond simply adding numbers together. She explores the qualities and symbolic meanings associated with individual numbers and how they interact to create different patterns of energy.

Much of the conversation focused on what 2025 represents through the lens of esoteric numerology.

In numerology, 2025 reduces to the number nine, which Kay associates with completion, transformation, and the ending of cycles. She described the year as a time when people may find themselves reconsidering old beliefs, releasing familiar patterns, and preparing for new beginnings.

Kay also explored the individual numbers within 2025, explaining how she interprets their combined influence.

One of the recurring themes was the idea of riding waves of change rather than resisting them. Kay suggested that periods of uncertainty can bring opportunities for growth, even when the changes themselves feel uncomfortable.

She spoke about grief in a broader sense, explaining that we don't only grieve the loss of people. We can also grieve the loss of familiar routines, past identities, relationships, expectations, and the way we once believed the world worked.

Recognizing those feelings, rather than ignoring them, can be an important part of moving forward.

The discussion also touched on personal responsibility and the importance of thinking independently. Kay encouraged listeners to be mindful of collective emotions and reactions, particularly during times of uncertainty, instead of automatically following the opinions or fears of those around them.

Another meaningful part of the conversation explored the power of language and intention.

Kay discussed the energetic practice of using the words “Cancel, Delete, Clear” as a way to interrupt thoughts or statements that no longer serve us. Within her spiritual approach, these words act as an intentional reminder to stop reinforcing an unwanted thought pattern and consciously choose a different direction.

She also encouraged listeners to pay attention to the words they use when describing their personal experiences.

For example, saying “my headache,” “my diabetes,” or “my trauma” can make a condition or experience feel closely tied to our identity. Kay suggested experimenting with more neutral language, such as “a headache,” “a diagnosis of diabetes,” or “a trauma I experienced.”

The intention isn't to deny what someone is experiencing or replace medical care. Rather, it is to recognize that a health condition, difficult experience, or painful memory does not have to define the whole person.

This idea connected with the larger theme of moving beyond feeling stuck.

When we continually repeat the same stories about ourselves, Kay suggested, we may find it harder to imagine different possibilities. Becoming more conscious of our internal dialogue can help us approach challenges with a fresh perspective.

Throughout the interview, Angela and Kay also explored the relationship between numbers, sound, vibration, and spiritual awareness. Kay shared her background as a gong musician and Reiki Master Teacher, describing how these different practices complement her work with numerology.

The conversation offered a reminder that change is a natural part of life. While we cannot always control what happens around us, we can become more aware of how we respond, what we choose to believe, and the language we use to describe ourselves.

What I Learned From Kay Kraty

One of the biggest things that stood out to me was the power of our words and the intentions we place behind them.

I loved Kay's discussion about using “Cancel, Delete, Clear” as an energetic tool to interrupt thoughts, emotions, or patterns that keep us feeling stuck. It reminds us that we can become more conscious of what we're thinking and saying instead of automatically repeating the same things.

Something else that really resonated with me was the idea of not claiming illnesses, trauma, or difficult experiences as our identity.

Instead of saying “my headache,” “my diabetes,” or “my trauma,” we can begin changing our language to “a headache,” “a diagnosis of diabetes,” or “a trauma that happened.”

That simple shift in wording creates a little separation between who we are and what we are experiencing. We can acknowledge something without making it part of our identity.

It was such a powerful reminder to pay attention to the words we speak, the thoughts we repeat, and the emotions we attach to them. Our words can influence how we see ourselves, how we respond to situations, and whether we feel capable of moving forward.
