How does mental health affect people on a spiritual journey? Have you found people in Spiritual crises or confusion, when you work with people's mental health? What is Trance Healing? Spirit children, what are they and how do you look at those children on a Soul level? More people are waking up. Have you found people of all backgrounds embracing Spirit? Do you feel Spirituality is more or less embraced in your culture or are there big swings in acceptance or not? Why did you start the FaceBook group, Mediums of African Ancestry? How did you move from your many accomplishments in the world to moving into the public spiritual world? Were you welcoming this step? How does Spirit work with you? When you are creating poems, meditations, or orating, are you feeling Spirit creating with you?

Facebook (I am the administrator of a Facebook Group Mediums of African Ancestry,
Lorna is a Certified Medium and Intuitive Counselor who has over 41 years of behavioral health industry experience as well as a masters degree. She has gone on to obtain extensive training in mediumship, healing and developing the intuition. Lorna uses this experience and training to supplement her strong intuitive and extrasensory abilities when providing guidance.

The leader of the development group has an extensive background in mental health, substance abuse, counseling, psychotherapy, and workforce development spanning over forty years. This background includes roles and responsibilities as an Administrator, University Professor, Program Developer, Grant Writing, Clinician and Coach in hospitals, non-profits and governmental settings. However, throughout this career there was always a strong intuitive sense, often hearing and seeing things and always wanting to heal others.
When Lorna Hines-Cunningham saw "Spirit Children" , a short documentary shown at the Teaneck International Film Festival last fall, she knew she wanted to do something to help the children depicted in the film.

It was made by her friends Zelda and Ralph Patterson, about an orphanage in northern Ghana run by Sister Stan Terese Mario Mumuni. In the rural area, some believe that children born with birth defects or disabilities are omens of bad fortune. These "spirit children" are rejected or ritually killed for the sake of the remaining family and community. To save these children, Sister Stan and her staff take them in and help get them proper healthcare and education.
Offering mediumship, guidance, readings, trance healing, development, numerology, inspired speaking and more
